We own the lot directly across the street from our house. We put a cyclone fence around it … good fences make good neighbors… right? But that hasn’t worked out as well as I had planned. So I’m hoping my newly planted Giant Thuja trees will grow as fast as advertised … 3-5 feet a year … and help me create a more private garden space..
I recycled our old mailbox into a garden tool storage box. I saw the idea on gardening site so I kicked it up a notch and stenciled some designs on it and put it at ‘kid level’ so my grandkids can keep their things in it too.
I made the girls twirl sundresses for the summer and we put the serger scraps out for the birds to use for their nests.
Strawberry plants are in the pot and doing great … and the view of ‘my little piece of Heaven’ looks great from my front porch!
